Mobile NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Early Benchmark Results Emerge
Want to see how the next generation of mobile graphics processors will compare We've just gotten a glimpse of what the mobile NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 might be able to offer based on some benchmarking results that are floating around online.
Caught in the Wild: Geekbench Results Are In
The performance data for the laptop version of the RTX 5060 recently appeared in the Geekbench database. It's a popular cross-platform benchmarking software, so it's not a surprising place for early hardware tests to show up. Those early numbers were recorded from two different laptops, giving us a couple of points to look at.

The first laptop using the RTX 5060 was a Colorful iGame M15 Origo, which had an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor. With this, the GPU achieved 102,564.
The second outing was in a Colorful P15 Pro model, with an Intel Core i9-13900HX processor included. To everyone's surprise, this combination recorded a marginally higher score of 109,413. Nice reminder that overall laptop performance is not always down to the graphics card.
How Does it Compare Punching Above Its Weight
So what do all these figures actually represent If we look at where the mobile RTX 5060 ranked, namely that higher score of 109,413, it puts it in some pretty interesting company:
- It's performing almost on par with the mobile GeForce RTX 4070 (which typically scores around 109,098 in the same test). That's potentially next-gen mid-range performance alongside the last generation's higher offering.
- It's also right behind some mainstream desktop graphics cards, like the Radeon RX 6750 XT (around 107,453) and even the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (around 109,075).
What This Early Data Suggests
While these are just preliminary benchmarks and real gaming performance in the real world can turn out to be other than this, these Geekbench results are encouraging. The mobile RTX 5060 could deliver performance levels previously the domain of more expensive laptop GPUs or even decent desktop cards. This has to be welcome news for those who will be waiting for the next crop of mainstream gaming laptops.
