8BitDo is joining with Superdeluxe Games to bring out a cool new version of its hit M30 Bluetooth Gamepad. They're naming this one the "8BitDo M30 Bluetooth Gamepad - Earthion Edition," to honor the new game Earthion, and it will be sold as a limited-time thing.
The first 8BitDo M30, out in 2019, took tips from the famous SEGA Mega Drive controller and came in black and white. This Earthion version adds a new look to that loved design.
The new controller has a white body with a big Earthion logo. It shows off dark gray XYZ buttons and bright red ABC buttons. The start, star, select, and home buttons are all in yellow, with the shoulder buttons the same red as the face ones. It has many game-related marks on it too, giving it a one-of-a-kind style.
Though its look is new, the Earthion Edition keeps all the main parts of the regular 8BitDo M30 Bluetooth Gamepad. This six-button controller has:
- The ability to work with Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, Windows, and Android things.
- A cozy, matte-textured D-pad.
- A choice to connect through Bluetooth or a USB-C cord.
- An inside 480mAh battery that lasts up to 18 hours on one charge.
The game this special controller is for, Earthion, is made by the known Yuzo Koshiro and will be out by Japan's Superdeluxe Games. Earthion will come out on July 31, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. There’s talk of a Mega Drive cartridge version coming next year too.
This special controller is a cool thing for fans of 8BitDo and the game Earthion.
