AOC has rolled out a new screen, the U27U3XD, made to give users more ways to view their work. This model lets you pick from two modes: one with high clearness and one with fast screen updates. It also has neat design bits.
The big draw of the AOC U27U3XD is it can switch between two ways:
- 4K Clearness at 144Hz: Great for work, making stuff, and sharp games.
- 1080p Clearness at 288Hz: Good for games where fast screen update is key.
It hooks up well with HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C, so you can link to many things easy.
The U27U3XD uses a 27-inch IPS panel. AOC notes these common bits:
- Lit Up: 450 cd/m² in HDR mode and 350 cd/m² in SDR mode.
- See Deep Black: 2,000:1.
- Full Color Range: All of sRGB.
- True Colors: Set by the factory with a thin Delta E of less than 2.
- Fast Change: 0.5 ms Moving Picture Response Time (MPRT) and 4 ms grey-to-grey (GtG).
These bits show a strong IPS screen for normal use and games, even if it can't match OLED or mini-LED deep black.
AOC has put in some bits for users:
- Moveable Stand: You can change the height, tilt, and turn, and also shift it to show tall, not wide.
- AMD FreeSync: For smooth games without tears.
- Built-In KVM Switch: Has USB spots for tools, lets you use one keyboard and mouse for many sources.
- Show Many Sources: Can show video from a few places at once.
Info on how much the AOC U27U3XD will cost or when it will come out is not shared yet by the company.
