GMKtec just started pre-orders in China for its new game mini PC, the EVO-T1, using the Intel Arrow Lake tech. They plan to release it on July 14 at a sale price of CNY 5,699 (about $800).
The pre-order model in China has an Intel Core Ultra 9 chip, 64 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of live space.
The EVO-T1 comes with the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H, a strong CPU from the Arrow Lake line. This chip has Arc 140T built-in show powers, which go toe-to-toe with AMD's Radeon 890M, mostly in how well they use power.
A big plus is it has an OCuLink port, so people can hook up an extra GPU (eGPU) for better show power. The mini PC also has many other hook-ups:
- 2x USB Type-C (Thunderbolt type uncertain 5 or 4)
- 5x USB Type-A
- 1x HDMI
- 2x Ethernet
- 1x DisplayPort
- 2x 3.5 mm sound holes
For more space, the EVO-T1 has two M.2 slots to add more, but the highest amount it can take isn’t set by GMKtec yet.
While it starts in China, GMKtec shows the EVO-T1 on its world site too. Past news hints a world open might happen in July. They haven't set a day for when it'll be out in other places yet.
