GMKtec has just put out its new G10 mini PC in China, giving a small and cheap way to use a computer. This tiny device runs on an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor and has room for up to 64 GB of RAM and a huge 16 TB of storage. The basic model comes at a low price, starting at about $167 (CNY 1,199).
At the core of the G10 is the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U. This APU, part of AMD's Picasso series (with 4 Zen cores and Radeon RX Vega 8 built-in graphics), came out in 2019, but it still does well for daily computer jobs, even if it cant play new games at high quality well.
GMKtec says that the Ryzen APU in the G10 can hit a top TDP of 35W, with the system's full power likely reaching 55W. Users can set up the G10 with up to 64 GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM, and for storage, it can hold up to 16 TB.
The GMKtec G10 has a lot of ports for its size:
- Three USB Type-A ports
- Two USB Type-C ports
- One Ethernet port
- One HDMI 2.1 port
- One DisplayPort 1.4
Other key points include a single-fan cooling system to keep it working well, a very small design, and a nice metallic look.
Right now, the GMKtec G10 is for sale in China in two models:
- 16 GB RAM / 512 GB Storage CNY 1,199 (about $167)
- 16 GB RAM / 1 TB Storage CNY 1,399 (about $195)
There isnt clear news on when the G10 might come out all over the world, but GMKtec often sells its items to buyers far away.
