Huawei has now set the world show date for its Pura 80 line, and that includes its top model, the Pura 80 Ultra. The firm will show off these top camera phones in Dubai to all the world on July 10, 2025, just a short time from when they first came out in China.
The Pura 80 line, and more so the Pura 80 Ultra, has caught eyes with its camera tech. It has a new big main sensor and a unique long lens that can switch its optics. Huawei seems in a rush to share these parts with everyone all over soon.
This quick move to share it all over, just one month post its China start, hints Huawei wants to get the Pura 80 Ultra to users out in the world fast, aiming for those who like new tech and can pay, given it's hard to use Huawei phones without Google apps in a lot of places.
It's not yet clear if the Pura 80 line world models will use EMUI or the HarmonyOS 5 seen in China without Android. While there are ways around not having Google apps, this is something for buyers to think about.
The Pura 80 line in China, which also has the Pura 80 Pro, Pura 80 Pro+, and the basic Pura 80, runs on the Kirin 9020 chip. This chip is not seen as equal to the top chips like the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Buyers, thinking of the high prices, must weigh how much it costs against how fast it runs and how special the camera stuff is.
