NVIDIA Stock Outlook AI Robots Foxconn & Future Earnings Potential

NVIDIA's stock faces scrutiny despite strong future plans in AI and robotics with Foxconn. Analysts anticipate positive August earnings.
NVIDIA Stock Outlook AI Robots Foxconn & Future Earnings Potential

NVIDIA's stock has gone up a bit this year, even though it faced many tough spots. Experts are now looking at what might be making buyers think hard, even when the company's future plans look good. These plans include working on new robots that help make things.

Stock Now and What People Think of the Market

Even after sorting out some short-term issues, NVIDIA's shares only went up about 3.5 percent since the start of the year. This is less than some people thought it would be as earnings in August come close. The company has stopped counting on its China market for the H20 GPU because of US rules, and now sees any sales there as extra, not included in its plans.

But NVIDIA still looks set to do well. UBS pointed out that NVIDIA can see around $1.5 trillion in data center money coming in. This fits with what they said on their Q1'26 call about planning many AI projects. UBS thinks a big order for NVIDIA could mean about $400 billion a year for its AI data center part in 2-3 years.

Mizuho's Jordan Klein is more sure about NVIDIA after meetings with clients (This is not investment advice). He says that funds in Boston are very hopeful and wonder why the stock hasn't jumped with the good news.

Klein thinks that some other funds might just be waiting for a big moment, like beating earnings forecasts, to jump in. He expects NVIDIA will do this in their August numbers, making those waiting investors jump in.

NVIDIA, Foxconn, and Robots in Building AI Servers

A big step might be NVIDIA and partner Foxconn using robots to put together AI servers in Houston, Texas. This matches what NVIDIA's boss Jensen Huang thinks, with new Blackwell GPUs made to work well with robots.

  • Foxconn's Place in Houston: Foxconn is putting $450 million into this site. Using robots here would be new for them.
  • NVIDIA's Blackwell Servers: These robots would likely make NVIDIA's newest GB300 Blackwell AI servers. This setup uses 72 Blackwell GPUs and 36 NVIDIA CPUs.
  • Trend in the Industry: Tesla's Elon Musk also backs using robots in making things. Foxconn once worked with China's UBTECH on robots.
  • NVIDIA and Robots More Widely: NVIDIA is big in the robot field with its GPUs and cloud stuff. It just teamed up with HEXAGON for the AEON robot, made for hard jobs.

Using these robots could push up demand for NVIDIA's chips, making them useful in more than just AI. This is also helped by trying to make more things in the US.
