RedMagic, known for its gaming smartphones, has branched out with the accessories category with the new Ice Blade Magnetic Axis Keyboard. This new offering was first introduced in China, aiming to strike a balance between performance and appeal against a lower price.
The Ice Blade keyboard is made for gamers. With 8,000 Hz wired polling rate and 0.1 ms response time, your commands will just be ready whenever you are, especially during those last-minute clutch moments. All of that is accompanied by RedMagic's very own Butterfly Magnetic Switches, all packed into a sturdy body carved out of 6063 aluminum with the CNC anodizing treatment.
Next, a customizable RGB light bar across the full width of the keyboard keeps the colorful and dynamic character in any gaming environment.
This keyboard launch manifests RedMagic's growing ambitions beyond mobile gaming devices such as their 10S Pro smartphone or the recently unveiled Gaming Tablet 3 Pro (scheduled for a worldwide launch as the RedMagic Astra). They clearly want to cater to a wider series of gaming peripheral needs.
Currently, the Ice Blade Magnetic Axis Keyboard is available in China at an official price of CNY 1,099 ($153). Early birds are offered a promotional price of CNY 999 (~$139) for next month.
Officially, news regarding the Ice Blade keyboard's global availability is yet to surface. Nevertheless, given the precedent of RedMagic bringing most of its products across to international markets, we might just see it for fans overseas someday.
