AMD's Cheap Ryzen 5 7600X3D CPU Hits UK Stores
The AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D, a low-cost gaming chip from the Ryzen 7000 series, is now seen in more shops, a year after it first came out in a few places. Its arrival in the UK means it will now be sold in more places.
From Just a Few Stores to Many
At first, the Ryzen 5 7600X3D was sold only at MicroCenter in the US and Mindfactory in Germany. It was also sold in China later, but few could get it. Today, it is listed on the Lambda-Tek site in the UK, making the UK the fourth area to have the CPU.
UK Price and Details
On Lambda-Tek, the CPU is shown to cost £299.57 with tax (£249 without tax). Although no picture is up yet and it's not ready to ship, it hints that it could be ready soon. This UK price is about US$400 with tax, more than its first US price of $299.
Key Specs and Gaming Use
The Ryzen 5 7600X3D is made for great gaming without costing too much. Its main specs are:
- Cores/Threads: 6 Cores / 12 Threads
- Clock Speeds: A base clock of 4.1 GHz and a top clock of 4.7 GHz
- L3 Cache: Has an extra 64MB of L3 cache with AMD's 3D V-Cache tech
- TDP: Uses just 65W, less than the 105W used by the regular 7600X
With smaller clock speeds than its non-X3D kind, the big L3 cache lets the 7600X3D do better in gaming and some tasks while using less power.
A Top Budget AM5 Pick
This growth hints that AMD plans to sell the Ryzen 5 7600X3D in more areas. Its being there gives gamers a good cheap choice on the AM5 setup, giving more for the price for gaming than the pricier Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
