Frostpunk 2 Hits PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on September 18
11 Bit Studios has set the date for its game, Frostpunk 2, to come out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on September 18, 2025.
It looks like the news came out a bit too soon. A new clip for the game hit YouTube and then was hidden, but not before some people got it and put it online.
Xbox Game Pass and More Add-Ons
Like its PC start, Frostpunk 2 will be on Xbox Game Pass for console users right from day one. This lets people who pay for the pass play it at once.
The team at the game studio plans to add more to the game after it comes out. They plan to launch two more add-ons by the end of 2025, and another one, not yet named, in 2026. This means they'll keep updating the game.
A Much-Waited Console Launch
Though the early out was not planned by 11 Bit Studios, game players on consoles are happy to hear it. Many have been looking forward to the game's move to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S since it did well on PC last September, getting great reviews.
