Galaxy Z Fold7 Tough Test Making It Through Ice, Water, and Big Drops
The new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7's strength was tested in a video from the YouTube channel Gupta Information Systems. They wanted to see how strong this slim, foldable phone is by putting it through many hard tests.
A Set of Tough Tests
They tested the Galaxy Z Fold7 under some harsh conditions to see how well it could hold up:
- Ice Test: The phone was frozen in a big block of ice for 12 hours.
- Water and Sand Test: They put it in a river with a fast flow and sand for 30 minutes. Even though its IP48 rating does not cover full dust blocking, the phone still worked.
- Liquid Test: Nine different liquids, like boiling water and soda, were poured on the phone.
- Scratch Test: The outer screen, which has Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, got scratches at levels 6-7 on the Mohs hardness scale.
- Drop and Bend Test: The phone was dropped from nearly 2 meters high and they tried to bend it the other way.
Results Keeping Strong in a Slim Shape
After all the tests, both the inside and outside screens of the Galaxy Z Fold7 worked just fine. The phone did not break badly from the big drop or the bend try.
The phone's toughness is thanks to its new FlexHinge, titanium plates, and a strong aluminum frame. This endurance test shows that the Galaxy Z Fold7, even with its thin build, keeps a high level of strength and reliability.
