Microsoft Rolls Out Surface Laptop 5G for Work
Microsoft has just said that they are bringing out the Surface Laptop 5G, an updated form of its Surface Laptop (7th Edition) for Work with 5G web. This tool, run by Intel's Top Processor (Series 2), will come out in August and has both eSIM and a small nano SIM card slot.
Main Parts and Web Link
The big change in this 13.8-inch work laptop is better web link. Microsoft put in a 5G modem and a smart antenna set up with six antennas that shift on their own to keep a strong and steady link. The laptop can move with no break from Wi-Fi to 5G web and can also act as a mobile hot spot.
For AI work right on the device, the Surface Laptop 5G has a Neural Work Unit (NPU) that can do over 40 trillion acts per second (TOPS).
Choices and Cost
The Surface Laptop 5G will come in two main types, starting at $300 more than the non-5G model out in February. Here are the costs:
- $1799.99: Intel Core Top 5, 16GB RAM, 256GB space.
- $2,699.99: Intel Core Top 7, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD.
When to Get It
The Surface Laptop 5G will start to ship on August 26. At first, it will only be sold in the Platinum Silver color choice.
Microsoft has not said if they will put out a 5G take of the user Surface Laptop 7 types that use Snapdragon chips.
