Square Enix Backs Danish Indie Team BetaDwarf for New ARPG

The Danish indie team BetaDwarf and Square Enix are now partners. The firm from Japan will put in a big sum of money to help make Vaultbreakers, an action RPG game. They say it has the feel of Diablo.

About the Game Vaultbreakers

In Vaultbreakers, you pick from many heroes to roam in places that shift. The main parts of the game are doing jobs, fighting beasts, and finding hidden things. What you will see in the game:

  • Action RPG play, much like in the Diablo games.
  • You can play alone or with others.
  • You will meet NPC beasts and other players.

More on the Partnership

People from Square Enix say they chose to help because of the main idea of the game, its fresh views, and the big role of playing with others. They have not told us how much money they gave.

Launch Date and When You Can Get It

No set date to launch Vaultbreakers yet. But, the game could be tried on Steam for a bit, from July 3 to July 9.
