Court Case Ends for Past Ubisoft Bosses with No Jail Time

The court in France had a case with three past top workers from Ubisoft. They were on trial for bad acts at work. They all got off without real jail time.

What the Court Said and the Fines

A news place called VGC said the court gave out these fines and the following suspended sentences to the three, who lost their jobs at Ubisoft in 2020:

  • Thomas François (once Vice President of Making and Thinking Work): No jail for three years.
  • Serge Escoet (once Big Idea Boss): No jail for one and a half years.
  • Guillaume Patroux (once Game Boss): No jail for one year.

They must also pay money, from 10,000 to 45,000 euros.

Why They Were in Court

At the court talks, it came out that the three did bad things like scare, treat badly, and push around people who worked for them. It was said that the three said they did not do it during the court time.
