Acer announced the new lineup of desktop computers at IFA 2025, introducing the powerful Predator and Nitro gaming PCs along with two smart ChromeOS box devices such as Chromebox Mini CXM2 and Chromebox CX16.

Acer's high-end gaming products, the Predator Orion 7000 and 5000, have been upgraded to take full advantage of the best components.

Predator Orion 7000: The top model pushes the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, and up to 128 GB DDR5 RAM. Even six terabytes of solid-state storage (PCIe Gen5 and Gen4) are an option, while cooling is provided by a 360 mm liquid cooler. Wi-Fi 7, 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet and Thunderbolt 4 are among its connectivity features. The Orion 7000 begins at €3,999 and will be available in Q1 2026.

Predator Orion 5000: This features an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, the same RAM as its brother, but with less storage, at 2 TB. Most I/O and networking options are unchanged from 7000, but it has downgraded its PSU to 850 Watts. The Orion 5000 begs €2,999, likewise launching in Q1 2026.

With AMD processors, the new Nitro 70 and Nitro 50 desktops are intended to be cost-effective gaming options.

Acer Nitro 70: This PC could be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D CPU and a GeForce RTX 5090 GPU. It supports up to 128 GB DDR5 RAM, 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage, and an optional 4 TB mechanical drive. Aero is cooled by a 360 mm AIO and powered by a 1,200-Watt PSU. Nitro 70 begins at €1,999, scheduled for a Q1 2026 release.

Acer Nitro 50: As the budget option, the Nitro 50 is limited to a Ryzen 7 8700G CPU and a GeForce RTX 5080. Memory and storage options are the same as those of the Nitro 70 but it employs an 850-Watt PSU. Likewise, the Nitro 50 will start at €1,699, becoming available in Q1 2026.

Acer made the announcement of the Chromebox Mini CXM2, a small form-factor device tailored for small environments but with the option of mounting it behind a monitor using a VESA kit.

  • Memory & Storage: Supports a maximum of 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 128GB of flash storage on eMMC, along with a slot for M.2 expansion.
  • Ports: Comes with five USB-A ports, one USB-C port, two HDMI 2.1 ports, Ethernet, and an audio jack.
  • Connectivity: Support for Wi-Fi 6E.
  • Availability: The launch is set for September for €229 for the standard version and €299 for the enterprise edition.

The Chromebox CX16 is another new Chrome OS mini-PC focused on versatile connectivity in a compact chassis.

  • Ports: USB-C, USB-A, DisplayPort, dual HDMI 2.1, 2.5G Ethernet, SD card reader, and audio jack.
  • Connectivity: WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
  • Availability: Available from September 2025, the standard version starting at €299 and the Enterprise version at €399.
