Assassin's Creed Mirage Announces Free 'Valley of Memory' DLC
Ubisoft has officially revealed "Valley of Memory," a free DLC update for Assassin's Creed Mirage. Set to launch on November 18, 2025, across all platforms, the new content will introduce an entire new region, storyline, and game features to Basim's adventure.
Explore the New AlUla Region
With a new explorable region dubbed the AlUla, this DLC takes a historical journey along the Incense Road in the 9th-century Abbasid Empire. To represent the historical value of the area, Ubisoft partnered with archeologists and historians to recreate what this bustling trade center would look like during its time.
New Story, Quests, and Other Additions
"Valley of Memory" comprises a new story focusing on Basim looking for his father. Apart from the major narrative flow, a few more things are added:
- New contracts and side quests.
- The highly requested ability to replay missions.
- A new faction of Robbers for Basim to deal with.
New Gameplay Enhancements and Abilities
The update helps build on already existing gameplay mechanics, giving several new features and enhancements:
- A new tier for tool upgrades.
- New parkour abilities, including one to manually jump.
- Refinements to movements while climbing rocky terrain in the less-trodden AlUla area.
Development History
Originally, there was no intention to offer downloadable content for Assassin's Creed Mirage; nonetheless, after the predictable success of the game, the efforts to develop this DLC were made possible by the partnership with Savvy Games Group, an investment company set up by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF).
