Final Unveils UX5000 Hi-Res Headphones with Replaceable Battery
Final has unveiled its latest UX5000 over-ear headphones, a general-purpose model designed for everyday use-whether for listening, at work or even in the studio. The headphones include Hi-Res audio, active noise cancellation, and a battery that may be swapped out by a service center.
Core Audio Technology and Customization
UX5000 headphones are based on the 40mm dynamic drivers and powered by Qualcomm QCC3095. Such hardware enables state-of-the-art connectivity with exceptional stereo sound.
- Bluetooth 5.4
- Hi-Res code: LDAC and aptX Adaptive HQ.
- Companion App: The "Final UX5000" app allows sound customization through a ten-band equalizer, noise-cancellation mode selection, and a transparency function.
Designs, Comfort, and Noise Cancellation
Final has fitted the UX5000 with a hybrid active noise cancelling technology employing forward and backward-facing microphones to achieve a highly effective reduction of external sounds. The form itself is designed with comfort and longevity in mind.
- Comfort: Memory foam ear cushions make the headphones ideal for long listening sessions.
- Build Details: These incorporate magnetic cup attachments and a headband that can be replaced.
- Wired Option: A 3.5mm cable is included in the package to allow for optional listening in wired mode.
- Weight: 310g.
Battery Life and Serviceability
A significant feature of the UX5000 is the long battery life combined with the individual facility for battery replacement. A 700 mAh battery provides significant time for listening.
- ANC On: Playback time can be extended to about 45 hours with ANC switched on.
- ANC Off: Playtime can go as far as 65 hours when ANC is switched off.
- Charging: About two hours for full charging.
- Replaceable Battery: When required, the battery can be installed in a service center, thus extending the lifespan of the product.
Pricing and Availability
Final UX5000 headphones are now available for sale in Japan at around $225. It comes with a package of headphones, semi-rigid carrying cases, and a 3.5mm audio cable.
