MagicX Enters the Clamshell Market with the One Flip 50 Handheld
With the announcement of its first clamshell-style gaming handheld, the One Flip 50, MagicX enters the competition with competitors. The intention is to offer something near to the already existing Consoles" like the Retroid Pocket Flip 2 but with a far cheaper price tag of under $100. This announcement comes in the midst of rapid-fire product launching by this company.
MagicX One Flip 50 Key Specs
As relayed by MagicX, One Flip 50 will be built on the same chipset as its recently launched One 35 and One Retro 45. The core specifications will be as follows:
- Chipset: MediaTek Helio G85 (Mali-G52 MP2 GPU; 2x ARM Cortex -A75 CPU cores, 6x Cortex -A55 CPU cores).
- RAM: 4 GB.
- Storage: 64 GB internal storage with a microSD card reader for expansion.
- Screen: 5 inches, 1080p resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio.
- Controls: The design incorporates in-line shoulder buttons, silicone ABXY buttons and a silicone d-pad.
Price and Availability
With an expected target price around $95 for the One Flip 50, no official announcement has yet been made regarding the date of release. Information and device mock-ups were initially shared on the company's official Discord channel.
