Caviar Unveils Limited Edition 18K Gold iPhone 17 Pro Collection
Caviar has just launched a limited edition collection for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max called "Gold Collection." The collection features three different designs, with each design having an 18K gold case and a very small run of three units maximum for each model.
The Three Designs in the Gold Collection
Each model in the collection offers a unique aesthetic, although they share a common element of 18-karat gold.
- iPhone 17 Pro Bitcoin 18K: An 18-karat gold case decorated with cryptographic engravings and a clearly sticking-out Bitcoin symbol; this frame carries a serial number 1 to 3 engraved onto it.
- iPhone 17 Pro Palmette 18K: An ebony phone with gold palms inspired by the UAE, with over 100 hand-placed diamond setting accents on a palm motif, to which the Apple logo has also had diamonds added.
- iPhone 17 Pro Solar: An experimental design to downplay extravagance and feature the quality of solid gold.
Functional Limitations
The models from the Gold Collection are unlikely to be capable of wireless charging or to support Apple's MagSafe, since the glass back of the iPhone has been replaced with solid metal.
Pricing and Availability
Caviar's online store currently retails the Apple iPhone 17 Pro (Max) Gold Collection. The price fully reflects the exclusivity of the collection, as well as the materials it has been made from:
- Price Range: $67,640 to $88,210 for a model with storage.
- Exclusivity: Each of the three designs has been limited to only three pieces in the world.
