Zotac Unveils Zbox CI360 Nano Mini-PC
Zotac has updated its mini-PC lineup with the introduction of the Zbox CI360 Nano. Based on the previous CI338 model, the new CI360 supports quad core Intel Twin Lake CPUs and DDR5 memory. Though the official pricing is not announced yet, the specifications suggest it would be an entry-level system.
Core Performance and Intended Purpose
The Zbox CI360 is powered by the quad-core quad-thread Intel N150 processor, a 6-watt chip meant for entry-level systems. It is sufficiently powered to handle lightweight tasks like web browsing and emailing. Synthetic benchmark tests indicate that the processing power of the Zbox is roughly in line with an Intel Core i5-8250U CPU, which is, at this time, a good eight years old.
There is no support for discrete graphics for the system. The integrated GPU with 24 Execution Units does boast video acceleration, but gaming will be limited to very light titles at best.
Memory and Storage Configuration
The mini-PC has a single SODIMM slot supporting up to 16 GB of DDR5-4800 memory. Given the current DRAM market trend, Zotac may have wished to offer a barebones version of the system to make it cost-effective. As for storage, the machine has dual M.2280 slots.
Connectivity and I/O Ports
The ZBox CI360 provides an assortment of ports and wireless options. The I/O includes:
- Three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports
- One USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port (with DisplayPort functionality enabled)
- Two HDMI 2.0 ports
- An SD card reader
- Two 1G Ethernet ports
- One audio jack
- Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 equipped
Pricing and Availability
There has yet to be any announcement on pricing or release date from Zotac for the Zbox CI360 Nano Mini-PC.
