Acer has introduced new Intel Core Ultra and RTX 50 Series components for its Predator Helios Neo gaming laptop range. The Predator Helios Neo gaming laptop series of Acer has received its second hardware upgrade, which introduces three advanced AI powered models called 16S AI, 16 AI, and 18 AI. The 2026 models use the most current Intel and NVIDIA silicon technology, which was specifically designed for playing high end games and running AI based creative tasks. The updated laptops will begin their EMEA market launch on June 2026.
The entire 2026 lineup scales up to high end flagship components. Performance is driven by Intel Core Ultra processors, reaching the 9 290HX Plus model. For graphics, the laptops can be configured with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPUs. Each model utilizes Acer’s proprietary cooling technologies, including AeroBlade 3D fans and liquid metal thermal compounds, to manage the thermal output of these high wattage components.

The most portable option in the refresh features a chassis thickness of less than 18.9 mm. Its display screen consists of a 16 inch WQXGA OLED panel. The panel supports a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms response time, covering 100% of the DCI P3 color space. The system also received Calman Verification for validating its color accuracy.

The gaming standard model uses a 16 inch WQXGA OLED screen which is identical to the screen used in the S model. The system features a stronger cooling mechanism which operates with dual AeroBlade 3D fans and vector heat pipes. Intel Killer Ethernet E3100 and Thunderbolt 4 support form the basis of the system's connectivity options.
Predator Helios Neo 18 AI
The flagship model which measures 18 inches wide provides the best possible visual experience for users. It uses a WQXGA OLED display with a 240 Hz refresh rate to display content. The company created an Ambient Contrast Ratio film which helps users see better in bright spaces because it reduces glare while preserving image quality in all lighting situations.
Acer has bundled several AI centric tools into the hardware. The system provides gaming assistants and camera controls powered by artificial intelligence through the Acer Intelligence Space suite. The laptops use PurifiedVoice and PurifiedView systems to guide both audio and video content through streams during video calls. Through the PredatorSense software, users can customize system settings while controlling keyboard backlight levels and fan operation modes.
