ASUS is changing factory prices for RTX 50 Series graphics cards
Starting in late February 2026 ASUS is changing its graphics card prices at the factory level. These increases follow some internal guidelines made public earlier this year and are now hitting the wholesale market. NVIDIA models are mostly going up in price but AMD cards are staying where they are.
The biggest price jumps are for the best most expensive cards. The new factory costs for these are
- RTX 5090 DV2 Series The top dog gets the biggest increase up 500 yuan
- RTX 5080 Series Only the cheaper 5080 models are getting more expensive going up 100 to 200 yuan. The higher end 5080 versions are staying the same price right now
- RTX 5070 Ti Series Most of these cards are going up by 200 to 300 yuan
Regular hardware is also getting pricier but not as much as the high end stuff. ASUS said that
- RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Most versions of these are up 100 yuan
- RTX 5060 Ti 8GB This specific card is not changing in price
- RTX 5060 Series All 5060 cards are going up 50 yuan
- Older and Cheaper Cards 5050-3050-1030-730-710 series These are generally going up by 40 to 55 yuan
Unlike the NVIDIA cards ASUS's AMD graphics cards are not affected by these changes in February. All Radeon cards are still at their January prices and there are not any increases planned at the factory.
Retailers will probably start charging customers more as they sell through their current stock. This suggests that parts might be getting harder to find or that it costs more to make these cards as we head into the second quarter of 2026.
