Mercedes Benz Unveils Preliminary Digital Interior Design For The Upcoming Electric C Class Featuring MBUX Hyperscreen And Enhanced Seating Comfort

Mercedes Benz reveals its digital interior design for the upcoming electric C Class vehicle. The company presentation released this week enables Mercedes Benz to show the preliminary design of the electric C Class interior which will undergo its full global launch on April 20. The manufacturer focuses on building a digital based environment through its design approach which includes extensive display space and increased seating capacity for passengers.

The 39.1 inch MBUX Hyperscreen serves as the main design element which creates a new appearance for the entire cabin space. The forward dashboard design contains a continuous glass interface which unifies the instrument cluster and primary media controls and passenger entertainment system into one complete visual display. Mercedes Benz engineers created a broad digital space which they divided into essential operational areas to establish separate sections for controlling cabin temperature and audio functions which help drivers to maintain their concentration.

The digital interface expansion remains inaccessible for occupants because the interior space now offers additional room to accommodate more occupants. The manufacturer has created a new main seating design which includes active ventilation and thermal heating and complete backrest massage functions together with adjustable lumbar support.

The cabin for higher tier configurations includes a Burmester acoustic system which uses embedded localized audio transducers to deliver high quality sound through its seating structures. The environmental control suite has also received substantial upgrades which now include an advanced panoramic roof that contains an active dimming module and an accelerated thermal control system that rapidly raises cabin temperatures during winter operation. The complete technical specifications for the drivetrain and vehicle pricing details will be revealed during the complete vehicle presentation which occurs later this month.
