MSI Claw 8 EX AI Plus Appears at Italian Retailer with Intel Arc G3 Extreme Graphics High End Specifications Large 80 Wh Battery and 1599 Euro Pricing
MSI next-generation handheld device has been revealed through early access to its technical specifications on the Ollo Italian retail website. The MSI Claw 8 EX AI Plus has its first listing its was spotted by @x86deadandback under the code CG3EM 013IT which shows that the brand will introduce much stronger hardware for the upcoming gaming season of 2026. Intel Arc G3 Extreme chipset serves as the core component of the new system because it represents the highest performance level among Intels latest mobile dedicated graphics chips. The upcoming processor will include 12 Xe3 cores which deliver major improvements in graphical capabilities compared to all previous mobile gaming hardware.
The new handheld device offers memory and storage options that match the specifications of high end laptop computers. The retail data indicates that the device will ship with 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory reaching speeds of 9600 MT per second. The Arc G3 Extreme silicon needs to meet contemporary gaming requirements which the system achieves by providing memory performance that matches current Panther Lake systems. The device operates Windows 11 Home while it stores data on a 1 TB solid state drive. The Ollo shop displays a specific unit that shows a Void Purple design which matches the Polar Void color scheme that was shown at technology trade exhibitions this year.
MSI has improved handheld devices by expanding their display space and increasing their power capacity to overcome typical user complaints. The Claw 8 EX AI plus moves to an 8 inch IPS panel that delivers a 1080p resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display reaches a brightness level of 500 nits while displaying the complete sRGB color spectrum to achieve accurate colors. MSI installed an 80 Wh battery which provides twice the power capacity of their first generation handheld device to handle these advanced components. The system now supports faster download speeds and reduced latency in cloud gaming through its implementation of Wi Fi 7 technology.
The hardware quality results in a leak showing pricing which offers a premium valuation of 1599 euros. The current price of the product has increased by 200 euros because the industry analysts believe that 2026 will experience higher expenses for manufacturing memory and storage products which use high density technology. The Ollo store currently lists the item as unavailable but the final specifications reveal that an official launch will happen soon. The Intel keynote at Computex in June will provide complete product details while the hardware will become available to consumers during the second half of the year.
