NVIDIA GeForce NOW May 2026 Update Adds RTX 5080 Support And Forza Horizon 6 Cloud Gaming

NVIDIA GeForce NOW May 2026 Expansion Integrates RTX 5080 Blackwell Architecture While Launching Forza Horizon 6 And 007 First Light Alongside 16 New Games

The GeForce NOW service from NVIDIA has reached a major cloud infrastructure expansion point during the upcoming month of May according to the latest technical briefing from the company. The company is bringing 16 new titles to the platform which will enable users to access all major software releases from Steam Xbox and GOG at their launch time. The Blackwell RTX architecture becomes the standard for premium tier subscribers which will help expand cloud hardware modernization efforts throughout the entire organization.

The Ultimate membership tier undergoes a complete performance upgrade because NVIDIA now provides RTX 5080 capabilities to its whole content library. The update enables users to access next generation hardware across almost all catalog items instead of being limited to certain optimized titles. Subscribers can now expect elevated frame rates and improved visual fidelity with support for resolutions reaching 5K at 120 frames per second or a high speed 360 frames per second at 1080p. The service now provides image reconstruction through DLSS 4 and reduced input lag with NVIDIA Reflex because it uses Blackwell architecture to offer a way for users to experience PC hardware performance.

Two major projects lead the software rollout this month. Playground Games is set to launch Forza Horizon 6 on May 19 taking the racing series to a dense and vertical representation of Japan. The new map stretches from Tokyos urban center to the snowy summits of the Japanese Alps. On May 27 IO Interactive will launch 007 First Light. The project establishes James Bonds modern origin story through its cinematic gameplay loop which provides players with stealth and direct action options. Players who own both titles will be able to access the games through the cloud on their launch day when they become available on supported digital stores.

NVIDIA is also marking the 30 year anniversary of Firaxis Games the studio renowned for the Civilization and XCOM franchises. The organization is celebrating this achievement by making classic titles available through direct installation at the current time. The package contains Sid Meiers Civilization Beyond Earth Sid Meiers Railroads XCOM 2 Ace Patrol and its Pacific Skies sequel. The service exists to celebrate the studio legacy by providing players instant access to these strategy staples which include the signature "one more turn" gameplay loop during a seasonal promotional period at the Steam store.

The month begins with an initial group of releases including Global Rescue sbox Far Far West and Industria 2. The Bus Bound simulation and Heroes of Might and Magic Olden Era strategy prequel are two new additions to the existing Bus Bound simulation. The library will expand with the addition of Conan Exiles and Dead as Disco on May 5 and Huntdown Overtime on May 7. Outbound will be introduced on May 14 while Forza Horizon 6 will make its major debut on May 19. The month ends with Luna Abyss and Zero Parades becoming available on May 21 while Starminer Deep Rock Galactic Rogue Core and 007 First Light will arrive on May 27. Players will find Hotel Architect Kiln Nuclear Option Sintopia Sudden Strike 5 and Super Battle Golf during the upcoming time period.

The service added eleven extra titles from the previous cycle during its recent finalization. The list contains 83 Crimson Desert DayZ and Diablo III. The library gained four additional titles through the addition of MapleStory M Morbid Metal Tides of Tomorrow and Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition. Windrose a demo for Pragmata Sketchbook and a new Vampire Survivors expansion have been added to the platform as recent content.
