Huawei MatePad Pro Max Debut Features Ultra Slim 4.7 mm Body and 13.2 Inch 3K OLED Panel Leading to Official Worldwide Launch Event on May 7
The Huawei MatePad Pro Max makes its first appearance with a slim 4.7 mm design. The Huawei company provided a first look of their upcoming MatePad Pro Max tablet which will soon launch worldwide. The device reaches its thinnest point at 4.7 mm which positions it as one of the most slender computing devices within its market range. Huawei disclosed through its technical teaser that the display incorporates a 13.2 inch OLED panel which displays 3K resolution and features PaperMatte anti glare technology to enhance visibility during daylight conditions.
The screen engineering uses 3.55 mm wide bezels that extend around the entire screen to produce an uninterrupted visual experience. The front camera system uses an advanced design which allows face recognition without the need for a traditional notch or cutout because it sits hidden inside the slim bezel. The tablet enables physical work through its compatibility with both external keyboard devices and stylus input. The company confirmed that the hardware enables execution of demanding performance tasks despite keeping processor specifications under wraps.
The full global launch for the MatePad Pro Max is set for May 7. This event will also feature the debut of the nova 15 Max smartphone. These 2026 releases aim to strengthen the position of the brand in the premium mobile and tablet market segments.
