The Scuf Omega provides an unprecedented twenty eight inputs on its device so that every play session gives the gamer full control. This comes in the form of eleven programmable inputs. Of those eleven, four rear paddles, two side buttons, and five G keys have been strategically placed around the trigger handles for finger position and reach. This allows the player to jump, slide, or initiate other actions without having to take their thumb off an aiming stick. For its d pad and action buttons, it utilizes Omron mechanical switches that deliver a mouse click like precision feel at every touch.

The device is capable of adjustable triggers, giving the user the choice between rapid, responsive clicking and analog stick input. To promote longevity, the device utilizes TMR thumbsticks that utilize non contact magnetic sensing technology in place of friction to maximize input accuracy while preventing stick drift over time. Players can also adjust the size and shape of their sticks between concave and domed to enhance their preferred style of grip.

The control system used by the Scuf Omega can be accessed via the Scuf Mobile App which is available for both Android and iOS devices. The app allows full system customization of hardware performance with the use of multiple custom profiles designed for different games or styles of play. Users are capable of implementing a true 0% dead zone along with responsive curves on both sticks and triggers, while fighting game players can re map the sticks with a SOCD function along with stick recalibration, and pc players are also able to change the color of the device's lighting bar.

The ergonomic feel of the device has also been refined with over fifteen years of controller design and is the result of the removal of internal vibration motors which decrease the weight significantly while also providing a clear pathway for rapid micro adjustments during each individual action. The handles also feature a non slip texture for better performance and grip control during an extended game.

The Scuf Omega is available for purchase at a retail price of 219.99 USD in the United States. International pricing is set at 239.99 EUR in Europe and 209.99 GBP in the United Kingdom. For the Japanese market the controller is priced at 37,980.00 JPY. These price points position the hardware as a premium option for gamers seeking the highest level of customization and reliability in a professional grade controller.
