OnePlus Pad 3 Pro Premium Tablet Launch Overview and Specifications Featuring Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Hardware
OnePlus has now culminated its hardware portfolio by introduced the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro. The official OnePlus launch notes the tablet is aimed at a premium market segment through an integrated offering of best in class computing elements along with a high resolution display and minimalist form factor. The intended user would appear to be those who want effective multitasking ability and extended run time.
The core hardware component inside the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro is the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. This processor is powered by 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM along with 512 GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage unit in the top tier configuration. The tablet uses a 13.2 inch IPS panel with a 7:5 aspect ratio and resolution of 3392x2400 pixels for visual interface. The display is capable of varying its refresh rate from 30 144 Hz for power efficiency. It can peak at a brightness of 1000 nits and has 98% coverage of DCI P3 wide color space.
Regarding the internal camera hardware, the Oneplus has a 13 Megapixel shooting hardware located on the back of the tablet and a 8 Megapixel front facing camera for video conferencing applications. Such high specification shots could require a lot of power, thus, Oneplus ships the device along a huge 13,380 mAh battery, which is capable of delivering upto 67 watt fast charging results in reduction of idle time using the device. A fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C connections are provided for speedy transfer of data to peripherals.
While the sheer size of the display renders the tablet somewhat awkward to carry around, it is designed to be used on the go. The dimensions of the device allow it to be 5.94 millimeters thin and weigh 672 grams. Connectivity wise the hardware comes with Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi Fi 7 support while the multimedia experience is completed by an integrated 8 speaker sound system which provides multi channel spatial audio.
