Huawei has announced an upcoming launch event to showcase two new premium laptops. The headline device is the MateBook Fold PC, a flexible screen laptop appearing in a gold finish. The company will also introduce the MateBook Pro S, an ultra portable notebook weighing only 798 grams.
Promotional images show the MateBook Fold alongside an M Pencil stylus, though it remains unclear if the accessory ships in the box. Huawei has kept the exact physical specifications secret ahead of the official reveal next week. This new folding PC aims to iterate on previous designs with premium aesthetic choices and a thinner profile.
The MateBook Pro S focuses heavily on portability and design variety. It will be available in 5 colors, which translate to summer purple, sunrise yellow, smoky cloud, velvet white, and sandy black. This model is built for mobile users who prioritize lightweight hardware without sacrificing display size or keyboard comfort.
Automotive rumors also suggest that Huawei might use the same event to expand its vehicle catalog. Speculation points to the Enjoy G9 off road vehicle running on the Harmony Intelligent Mobility platform. Flagship minivans like the Era V800 and V680 series may also make an appearance during the presentation.
Official pricing and hardware configurations for both laptops will be revealed during the live stream. Huawei is expected to launch these devices in select markets shortly after the presentation.
