KTC has released the Prism Q27 Plus, an affordable gaming monitor designed for competitive esports. The 27 inch display packs a 2560x1440 Fast IPS panel running at an overclocked 275 Hz refresh rate. The monitor is currently available in the Chinese market through JD.com for 999 yuan which is roughly 147 US dollars.

The display uses an edge lit Fast IPS panel that reaches a peak brightness of 400 nits. Gamers will benefit from a rapid 0.5 ms grey to grey response time, ensuring minimal ghosting during fast paced action. Colors are rendered using a 10 bit color depth achieved through an 8 bit plus FRC configuration, which sits alongside a standard 1000 to 1 contrast ratio.

Beyond the screen, KTC added several physical features to assist with desk organization. A hidden headset hanger retracts from the frame when not in use, and an infrared night light sits at the bottom of the bezel. Audio is handled by 2 built in speakers delivering 2W of power each. For connectivity, the rear panel houses 2 HDMI ports, 2 DisplayPort connections, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

The included stand allows for rotation adjustment, letting players turn the screen vertically. This makes the monitor highly adaptable for dual screen setups or stream monitoring. While the initial release is focused on China via JD.com, global availability and pricing details have yet to be announced.
