Vivo has quietly listed the S50t Yuanqi Edition on its official website. The new smartphone downgrades its memory specifications from LPDDR5X to LPDDR5 while keeping all other hardware identical to the standard S50t. The device starts at 2999 Yuan for the base storage configuration.
The S50t Yuanqi Edition comes in 2 storage configurations. The base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage sells for 2999 Yuan. For users who need more space, the 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage option is priced at 3299 Yuan. This pricing strategy makes the phone a slightly cheaper option for buyers who do not mind the minor dip in memory performance.
The hardware remains physically sleek, measuring just 7.49 millimeters thick. On the front, users get a 6.59 inch AMOLED display with a 2750x1260 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. A 50 megapixel camera is housed inside the front panel for high resolution selfies.
The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It pairs the LPDDR5 RAM with UFS 3.1 storage speeds. Powering the system is a 6500mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging. This battery capacity is particularly large given the thin profile of the chassis.
The rear camera setup offers plenty of options for photography. It features a 50 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens, and a 50 megapixel telephoto camera. This camera configuration matches the standard model completely, ensuring that photo quality is not compromised by the lower price tag.
