According to NVIDIA, the Sphere's "brain" consists of 150 RTX A6000 GPUs, each packing over 10,000 cores, 48GB of video memory, and a 300W power draw. That's a total of 1,612,800 cores, 7200GB of GDDR6 memory, and a whopping 45,000W power consumption. This processing power drives the 16 gigantic 16K displays inside and the 1.2 million programmable LEDs on the exterior.

Beyond GPUs, NVIDIA also supplied other crucial components. NVIDIA BlueField data processing units and NVIDIA ConnectX-6 Dx network cards ensure reliable network connectivity. Furthermore, NVIDIA DOCA Firefly and NVIDIA Rivermax services guarantee that all panels operate seamlessly as one cohesive unit.

It's possible that NVIDIA is aiming to boost brand awareness with this announcement. In related news, we previously learned about the impressive number of SSDs required for the Sphere's operation and the camera technology used to create content for this unique display.
