Apple A18 and A18 Pro Processor Specs Leaked: Minimal Performance Differences Expected
Leaker "Fixed Focus" has released an intriguing report detailing the purported specifications of Apple's upcoming A18 and A18 Pro processors, expected to debut in the iPhone 16 series. Surprisingly, the leak suggests users shouldn't anticipate significant performance discrepancies between the base and Pro iPhone models.
According to the insider, both chips will feature six CPU cores with a maximum clock speed of 4.05GHz. The primary distinction between the A18 Pro and its non-Pro counterpart lies in the GPU: the Pro variant boasts an extra core, totaling six compared to the standard model's five. Otherwise, no substantial differences are anticipated.
Early rumors suggest that all iPhone 16 models will come equipped with a minimum of 8GB of RAM. A portion of this memory will be dedicated to powering Apple Intelligence AI features, previously exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 16 and other new products at its upcoming event on September 9th.
