Xiaomi 14T Series Rumored to Ditch In-Box Charger
It appears Xiaomi might be following in the footsteps of Apple and Samsung by removing the charging adapter from its upcoming Xiaomi 14T smartphone boxes.
According to tipster chunvn8888, Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro units sold in Southeast Asia will no longer include a charger. Instead, the packaging will reportedly contain only the phone itself, a charging cable, and accompanying documentation. Xiaomi has yet to confirm or deny this information.
Apple was the first major manufacturer to remove chargers from its smartphone boxes, followed by companies like Samsung and Nothing. If the rumor holds true, it seems likely that future flagship Xiaomi devices will also forgo the bundled charger.
The Xiaomi 14T series is set to be unveiled on September 26th.
