8BitDo has released the Retro 87 Xbox Edition, a wireless mechanical keyboard inspired by the original Xbox console. Beyond its unique design, the keyboard also includes two large, customizable buttons reminiscent of gamepad controls.

Retro R8 Mouse
8BitDo also launched the Retro R8 Mouse Xbox Edition, sharing the same retro aesthetic. This mouse features a PAW 3395 optical sensor (up to 26,000 DPI), four programmable side buttons, and Kailh Sword GM X microswitches rated for 100 million clicks. It has a 450 mAh battery providing up to 100 hours of battery life via Bluetooth or 26 hours with the 8,000 Hz wireless dongle. A charging dock is included.
Pricing and Availability
The Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard Xbox Edition is available for pre-order for $200, with shipping expected to start on January 16, 2025. Pricing and availability for the Retro R8 Mouse are yet to be announced.
