Minisforum has introduced the UM870 Slim, a mini-PC packing powerful hardware and a comprehensive set of ports in a compact design. One of its key features is the ability to upgrade both RAM and storage.
Performance and Upgradability
The UM870 Slim measures just 130 x 127 x 50 mm and features the AMD Ryzen 7 8745H processor with a max clock speed of 4.9 GHz and integrated Radeon 780M graphics (2.6 GHz). Users can switch between Balanced (54W TDP) and Performance (65W TDP) modes.
Memory upgrades are easy thanks to two SO-DIMM slots for DDR5-5600 RAM, supporting up to 96GB. Storage can also be expanded using two M.2 2230 (PCIe 4.0 x4) slots, accommodating up to 4TB of storage.
