Acer Predator Laptops and Monitor Unveiled at CES 2025

Acer has announced a range of new Predator gaming products at CES 2025, including new Predator Helios laptops and a high-end Predator gaming monitor.

Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI: A Balance of Performance

The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI aims to balance performance with portability:

Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX or Core Ultra 7 255HX (Arrow Lake HX) processors
16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) OLED display (240 Hz 1ms response time or 165 Hz 3ms options)
Up to 32GB DDR5-6400 RAM
Up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD
2x Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, Wi-Fi 6E
1080p webcam, 76 Wh battery

Pricing and availability are yet to be announced by Acer.

Acer has also announced flagship Predator Helios laptops, the 16 AI and 18 AI models with:

Up to 64 GB DDR5-6400 RAM and 4TB PCIe Gen 5 storage
Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5090 GPU

18-inch 4K mini-LED display with 120 Hz (1000 nits HDR, 600 nits SDR, full DCI-P3 coverage)

Both are expected to be available sometime in Q2 2025, with no pricing information at this time.

Acer's new Predator XB323QX monitor is a 31.3-inch display with a unique dynamic frequency and resolution feature:

5K (5120 x 2880) resolution at 144 Hz, or 1440p (2560 x 1440) resolution at 288 Hz
Nvidia G-Sync, 0.5ms gray-to-gray response time
350 nits brightness
10-bit color depth, 95% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB coverage
Two HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4 ports

The Predator XB323QX is slated to be available in Q3 2024, with no pricing announced.
