vivo Launches New Product Lineup: X200 Ultra, X200s, Pad5 Pro, and Pad SE Revealed
vivo has now launched a new lineup of products, showing just how committed they are to quality performance and cameras. We've got two brand-new smartphones on our hands here, the X200 Ultra and X200s, and the refreshed duo of tablets, Pad5 Pro and Pad SE. Let's dive in deeper about what each one of these new products brings.
The Camera King: vivo X200 Ultra
If photography on the go is your thing, the vivo X200 Ultra is sure to catch your eye. This flagship smartphone proudly showcases its triple camera setup at the front, each one packing a large, high-resolution sensor:
- Main Camera: A 50MP sensor (Sony LYT-818, 1/1.28") with a 35mm equivalent focal length and a generous f/1.69 aperture, all dressed up in optical stabilization (OIS).
- Ultra Wide Angle: Also a 50MP sensor (Sony LYT-818, 1/1.28") with an equivalent focal length of 14mm and f/2.0 aperture, also benefiting from OIS.
- Telephoto: A massive 200MP sensor (Samsung HP9, 1/1.4") with an 85mm equivalent focal length (approximately 3.7x optical zoom) and OIS.
Smooth video is optimized, as the three lenses are all fitted with optical image stabilization. For content creators, you can record in 4K at 60fps with a 10-bit color depth (log video), or even push it to 4K at 120fps. vivo has also employed special lens glass with high light transmission and infrared absorption.
One photographer's touch of class is the particular camera control button. It's not just a simple shutter key; it's a two-stage, pressure-sensitive button with focus/exposure lock, and even swipe behavior to set zoom or lens switching.
Beyond the cameras, the X200 Ultra doesn't lag behind. It boasts a sizeable 6.82-inch OLED display with sharp 3168x1440 resolution, silky 120Hz refresh rate, and stunning peak illumination of 4500 nits. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip that operates at up to 4.32 GHz speeds. Driving it forward is a powerful 6000 mAh battery that features fast 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support.
The vivo X200 Ultra will hit stores in China on April 29th, priced starting at 6499 yuan for the 12GB+256GB variant.
