ASUS Launches ROG Raikiri II Pro PC Controller with 8000 Hz Polling

ASUS has started selling the ROG Raikiri II Pro PC, an esports gamepad that reaches an 8000 Hz polling rate. The modular controller features swappable TMR thumbsticks, adjustable triggers, and a built in color display for quick setting adjustments. It is currently available in European markets starting at €219.90.

Customization sits at the center of the Raikiri II Pro PC design. ASUS installed TMR sensor modules in the thumbsticks to eliminate stick drift and deliver precise tracking across different game genres. Players can physically swap the stick hardware to adjust the resistance and tension to match their grip. The triggers are equally adaptable. A physical switch lets you toggle between rapid short throw clicks using microswitches and full range analog travel powered by magnetic sensors.

Competitive players get 3 separate connection methods including Bluetooth, a wired USB cable, and low latency 2.4 GHz wireless via ROG SpeedNova technology. Both the wired and 2.4 GHz wireless modes operate at an 8000 Hz polling rate. That cuts input lag down to microscopic levels. The rear of the controller houses 4 removable buttons, backed by 2 extra top shoulder bumpers that can be completely remapped alongside the standard ABXY face buttons.

Instead of forcing users to open a desktop app for every tweak, ASUS placed a small color screen directly on the front panel. The display lets you switch between 5 stored profiles, calibrate your thumbsticks, and adjust vibration levels without leaving your game. For deeper customization, the ASUS Gear Link software allows you to alter sensitivity curves and activate a Turbo mode that automates rapid button presses.

Battery performance reaches up to 79 hours on the 2.4 GHz wireless link. According to ASUS, achieving this runtime requires dropping the polling rate to 1000 Hz and disabling the color screen, vibration motors, and RGB lighting. Every package includes a dedicated charging stand, a hard travel case, replacement stick caps, and the physical tool needed to swap the stick modules. The controller comes in black and white color options, retailing across Germany and Austria for €219.90, which is roughly $255.
