The day hasn't just arrived when Square Enix announced Dragon Quest Day; also what has been announced on the very special occasion and indeed much awaited, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, is set for release on 30 October. Get prepared to revisit these old storylines in all their glory through reimagined tales made gorgeously in that HD-2D style we've come to love.

The good news doesn't stop there, either. That remake pack will be available on a plethora of platforms, so nearly everyone can get in on the action. It's going to be on PC (by way of Steam and the Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and both the Nintendo Switch and the forthcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
