Elden Ring's New Content: Nightreign Arrives After 'Shadow of the Erdtree'

Everyone now knows that Elden Ring by From Software has been such a success. With 30 million copies sold in the three years since launch, that is really outstanding. Whether you have been part of the journey or for some reason missed this gaming phenomenon, there is now good news. There is the new content drop, called Nightreign, that brings fresh adventures following the 'Shadow of the Erdtree' expansion.

Those of you lucky to have a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X can jump into this new experience right away. The standalone preorders for Elden Ring: Nightreign are running on Amazon now, with a price of $39.88 to lure you in.

What Are Your Pre-Order Choices

Info
We advise people to buy physical discs to have full ownership rights of their games.

Thinking of getting a copy. Here is a quick rundown:

  • Standard Edition PS5 is $39.88, and $39.99 for Xbox Series X.
  • Want a little something more. The Deluxe Edition from Amazon for both consoles is $54.99.

What do you get with the Deluxe. Well, it says here that an immediate bonus gesture called "It's Raining" - which sounds fun. Plus, there'll be additional playable characters and even more bosses to test your skills against. The developers have hinted at additional content coming after the game is launched.

When You Can Install It. Mark Your Calendars

Not long at all. Elden Ring: Nightreign launches on May 30th. Close enough to touch for everyone looking to jump in or relive the Lands Between.

What About PC Gamers

PC players, don't worry, you haven't been left up. And the best part here is that Nightreign will not require a supercomputer to run. FromSoftware stated that the minimum recommended specs are not demanding. Something like an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070/RX580 or equivalent video card with a fairly decent setup will make it. So, a lot of gaming rigs available now should be able to run it just fine.
