One of the standouts in Gigabyte's new lineup is the inclusion of the GiMATE AI agent. Your own personal AI helper, built directly into your laptop. This isn't a pre-recorded chatbot; GiMATE is a dedicated Large Language Model meant to help you with everything from maximizing your laptop's performance to suggesting cooling configurations, or even generating images and content. Gigabyte is not aiming at any one class of user either. Their new range goes from super-premium AORUS Master to the more affordable Gaming series. So everyone has an AI driven machine at their disposal.
AORUS Master 18: Unleashed Power
The best for the best. The AORUS Master 18 is now here. This abomination is among the first to come equipped with Intel's behemothic Arrow Lake-HX mobile processors in the form of the Core Ultra 9 275HX. Boasting 24 cores and 24 threads, this processor can easily take care of any serious heavy duty you decide to throw at it. And graphics. It's equipped with NVIDIA's heavy-hitting RTX 5090 laptop GPU. This mix places the AORUS Master 18 as a force to be reckoned with, capable of performing, and arguably besting, even the most superior gaming laptops available.
Of course, all that power needs cooling in earnest. Gigabyte has equipped it with their "WindForce Infinity EX" cooling system, which includes a vapor chamber and quad-fan design capable of up to 270W. For those who want AI power on a budget, Gigabyte offers the Gaming A16. This machine pairs performance with price with Intel's Core i7-13620H processor and NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU. And there's an even lower-budget model that incorporates the GeForce RTX 4050.
The Gaming A16 features a 16-inch IPS display with silky 165Hz refresh rate, lightning-quick 3ms response time, and breathtaking 90% screen-to-body ratio for hardly any bezels. It supports up to 64GB of DDR5-5200 RAM and PCIe Gen4 SSDs. Battery life is also portrayed as a key selling point, with up to 12 hours of life, says manufacturers. Ports like USB 3.2 Gen1 (with Power Delivery), HDMI 2.1, and Wi-Fi 6E ensure that you're not making any compromises on connectivity.
