At the very heart of the machine is the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor with Intel Arc B390 graphics. This combination allows the device to perform various rendering techniques, such as hardware accelerated ray tracing, that simulate real world lighting. The hardware also makes use of Intelli Arc XeSS 3 technology which incorporates AI Into the super scaling process to increase the resolution of images and maintain frame stability during processor intensive tasks. To complement this hardware the Predator Atlas 8 features a dual fan thermal design Predator AeroBlade cooling, introducing the first ever metal fan on a handheld device 89 ultra thin blades measuring 0.1mm thick are used to increase airflow by 10% in conjunction with a second plastic fan and venturi channels (Vortex Flow).

The console has an 8 inch WUXGA (1920x1200) touch screen with a 16 10 aspect ratio. The screen is 120 Hz but has a Variable Refresh Rate which prevents tearing of the image with fast moving cameras. The screen can reach 500 nits of peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with a DXC coating to reduce ambient glare. The audio system utilizes two 2 Watt DTS X Ultra speakers and two dual microphones using Acer PurifiedVoice and an AI system to focus out ambient noise during voice chats.

Predator Atlas 8 input layout was kept ergonomic in mind for long gaming sessions. Predator placed full sized analog joystick and dual mode trigger system, which is mechanically switch able based on game genre. There is an array switch mounted on Predator Atlas 8 that, when switched on, switches the macro switch into micro switch state for quick clicking reactions in first person shooter games or into Hall effect analog state for progressive pressure in a racing game. Alongside, waiting on the hardware below for application PredatorSense to launched, for a user to see system Temps monitor, Performance profile, programming RGB zones.

Connectivity is based on fast standards intended for quick data transport and stable online gaming. The physical interface features 2 Thunderbolt 4 USB4 ports for external displays or docking stations, a UHS II microSD card slot for additional storage, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The wireless network is based on Killer Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 standards. Power management is based on a internal watt hour ( Wh) battery pack of 60 Wh or 80 Wh, with the latter weighing less than 810 g. Integrated power management technology, Intel Endurance Gaming, adapts the computer system's power requirements through moderating frame rates and intensiveness of tasks with the device entire energy demand, increasing the battery's operational time. It will hit the shelves in autumn.
