AnTuTu benchmark team has contacted its flagship rankings with another airing of the best Android phones in mid-range price categories for the month of May. Notably, the performance gap between the top and bottom of this list is quite a bit wider than what we saw with the flagships.
So which of the midrange warriors packs to the max with raw processing power per buck? It's looking like MediaTek's Dimensity chips are quite the powerhouse in that line.
- Claiming number one in May is the iQOO Z10 Turbo powered by the Dimensity 8400 processor (in its 16/512GB variant) with an impressive result of 1,782,186 points.
- The Redmi Turbo 4, with the Dimensity 8400 Ultra chip, scored a strong second with 1,690,575 points.
- Rounding up the top three is the OPPO Reno14 Pro, powered with the Dimensity 8450 that scored a very capable 1,590,301 points.
The rest of the May top 10 is, however, balanced across different processors and brands-all potently priced offerings:
- In fourth position is the OnePlus Ace 3V, built on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, with a score of 1,430,494 points.
- The OPPO Reno14 (with Dimensity 8350) took fifth with 1,334,417 points.
- Next is the Redmi K70E, scoring 1,313,211 points.
- Then the Redmi Note 12 Turbo followed this up with 1,135,100 points.
- Then we have the iQOO Z8 with 963,597.
- And iQOO Neo7 SE with 954,511 points.
- Finally, the Redmi Note 12T Pro took the tenth place in the ranking with a score of 871,484 points.
It is amazing how such power in performance is becoming affordable in the midrange market. AnTuTu really stands tall in guiding those who can afford a powerful phone without breaking the bank. Which of these mid-rangers grabs your attention?
