Infinix has truly created a frenzy with its fresh announcement of the Xpad 20, clearly targeting the budget tablet segment. If your need for a large display is broadly defined to cover binge-watching, light gaming, or browsing, but not expansive enough to go through serious wallet burn, this could be the one for you. Some features are immensely pleasant if not downright exciting, given what the expected price point should be.

Now that we are talking about the screen. Now the display has been so generously sized as to come from an 11-inch IPS display. Just about enough to immerse oneself into content. The resolution of 1920x1200 pixels must assure that what the viewer sees is clear and crisp, even more with the addition of a 90Hz refresh rate that should enhance scrolling motion and animations far beyond the feel of a standard 60Hz screen- not bad for a budget offer.

Concerning long binge sessions that could lead to eye strain, Infinix certified the display to be low blue light emission standard by TÜV Rheinland. The brightness of a maximum level of 440 nits permits it to find use in brighter surroundings.

Powering this tablet is a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. You can choose between 4, 6, or 8 GBs of LPDDR4X RAM based on what you'd consider best at meeting your multitasking needs.

As for storage, you have the option of either 128 or 256 GB of eMMC storage. That's not enough, you say. Not an issue. There is a microSD card slot that can take it up to a whopping 1 TB. This provides plenty of space for all your apps, pictures, and videos!

A 7000 mAh battery keeps this device alive. Fast charging is not mentioned, but this capacity is decent. An 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front are fine for a quick photo or video call.

Perhaps one of the fun-loving aspects of the Xpad 20 would be color choices. Infinix is treating it to some very quirky shades of red, purple, mint, and a classic gray. It's always nice to see some character in a design!

As of now, when you'd be able to grab one and how much it will cost are still under wraps. With the actual sales start date and pricing thus being a bit longer in coming, Infinix has pretty much assured us that, traditionally, the Xpad 20 would be somewhere on the lower end of the price proposition. One cannot imagine any other way towards that!
