Japan Sees Record Sales with Nintendo Switch 2 Launch

The new Nintendo Switch 2 is selling fast in Japan. It’s doing better than the first Nintendo Switch and other game boxes when they started. A report from Famitsu, a Japanese mag, says over 1.24 million of these new games have been sold in Japan in just three weeks.

The start is the quickest of any game box ever in Japan, say the game pros. To give you an idea it took a year for PlayStation 5 to sell its first million there. The first Switch needed four months to hit that big number.
