Samsung Galaxy M36 5G Now in India

Samsung just put out its new M-series phone, the Galaxy M36 5G, in India. This new phone takes over from last year's Galaxy M35 5G. It has a new look for its cameras but keeps much of its old main parts, like the Exynos 1380 chip. A big change is the smaller battery size.

Speed and Tools: The Same Power, Great Help

The Galaxy M36 5G uses the same Exynos 1380 chip as before. You can get it with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage that you can make bigger with a microSD card.

A key point is the software promise. The phone has Android 15 and One UI 7 to start, and Samsung will give six big Android updates, to Android 21.

Screen and Cameras

The phone has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ and a fast 120Hz refresh rate. For photos, the M36 5G has a new back camera set with three cams:

  • A 50MP main camera
  • An 8MP wide cam
  • A 2MP close-up cam

There's also a 13MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

Battery: A Drop

The new Galaxy M36 5G has a smaller battery than before. It comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, down from 6,000 mAh in the M35 5G. It can charge fast at 25W.

  • 6GB + 128GB Model: INR 22,999 (about $269)

But, Samsung has a price cut for the launch, so it's now INR 16,499 (about $193).
