Konami has clenched the veil on Silk for the whole world to see; it will release on September 25, 2025, on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The news came along with a very fresh trailer on June 2025s PlayStation State of Play, giving us lots of insight into the expectations ahead.

The latest footage went far and deep inside the atmosphere being so meticulously built by Konami. We caught the latest glimpses of some haunting realms, heart-pumping combat encounters, and heart-throbbing exploration sequences. And of course, what is Silent Hill without a brand new scoundrel of terrifying creatures to stalk your dreams The trailer gave us a glimpse into the horrors that will await our protagonist, Shimizu Hinako.

Further details came to light via a PlayStation Blog post, explaining some more about the disquieting story and gameplay systems. There was also information on the release editions for now, players will be able to choose between standard and deluxe. The contents of the deluxe version include a digital art book and the games soundtrack, as well as additional cosmetics for Shimizu Hinako.

A peculiar note for anyone with some of Sonys upgraded hardware specifically stated in the blog post, owners of the PS5 Pro will obtain some form of Enhanced graphics mode. While not a lot of details were provided on what this entails, there was some mention that on PS5 Pro, Silent Hill f would maintain graphical fidelity at a stable FPS. To the Pro users, it seems to be a richer and smoother nightmare.

Now that this thought has crossed our minds, we should recall how many roads have led to the present time. The existing buzz surrounding Silent Hill f came at a time when everyone was still salivating over the Bloober Team Silent Hill 2 Remake; and it is at present upon us, celebrated for its faithfulness and modernity. With so much eyeballing hungry for more Silent Hills, it sounds like Silent Hill f is gearing up to bank on this renewed hype. Fingers crossed that it lives up to that scary promise it has been showing.
