XMG / Schenker just told us about the new look for its EVO 14 ultrabook line, now with the E25 models. These new ultrabooks come with AMD Ryzen AI 300 series chips, and you can pick ones as good as the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. They also have brighter screens now. They still focus on being easy to take around, staying under 1.5 kg and not having separate GPUs. Instead, they use strong Radeon 800M built-in graphics and a strong NPU for AI work.
The new EVO 14 (E25) has a few AMD Ryzen AI 300 series chip choices:
- AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370: 12 cores / 24 threads.
- AMD Ryzen AI 9 365: 10 cores / 20 threads.
- AMD Ryzen AI 7 350: 8 cores / 16 threads (not as fast iGPUs as the top choices).
These chips have Radeon 800M built-in graphics for simple games and making stuff, and a 50 TOPS NPU to make AI better. The cooling part is better now, so the chip can work well at 65 watts. You can pick how it runs: 'Overboost' for top speed, 'Enthusiast' for less fan noise, and 'Balanced' for quiet use at 25 watts.
The ultrabooks can hold a lot of memory and space:
- RAM: Up to 128 GB DDR5-5600.
- Space: Up to 16 TB with two PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD slots.
The 14-inch LTPS IPS screen is better now:
- Pixels: 2,880 x 1,800 (16:10 shape).
- Bright: Up to 500 nits (was 400 nits).
- How Often It Refreshes: 120 Hz, but can go to 60 Hz to save power.
- Colors: 100% sRGB.
- Other: AMD FreeSync and Windows Hello-ready Full HD webcam with a cover for privacy.
The XMG EVO 14 (E25) has many ports:

The device uses an 80 Wh battery, charged only via USB-C. It's 311 x 220 x 17 mm in size and weighs 1.45 kg.
The basic XMG EVO 14 (E25) starts at €1,049 (with 19% VAT) and comes with:
- AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 APU
- 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR5-5600 RAM
- 500 GB SSD
You can pay €125 more for the Ryzen AI 9 365, and €290 more for the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. The ones with Ryzen AI 7 350 and Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 are ready to buy now. The Ryzen AI 9 365 model should be here by the end of July.
XMG also said a new XMG EVO 15 (E25 model version) with AMD Ryzen AI 300 chips is coming, with more news soon. They also plan to put out a 15.3-inch model with Intel Core Ultra 200H series CPUs later this year.
