AOC Shows Off New U32G4 Game Screen
AOC now has a new game screen, the U32G4, that can do two types of show tech. This screen has a large 31.5-inch Fast IPS panel with a 1ms GtG time and is very bright at 450 nits, made for both sharp and fast gaming.
Two-Way Show and Game Skills
The main thing about the U32G4 is it can work in two modes, so users can pick what fits best:
- 4K (3840x2160) at a 160Hz rate.
- Full HD (1920x1080) at a 320Hz rate.
The screen has Adaptive Sync to stop screen tears and AOC's own MBRSync tech to cut down on motion blur.
Color Right for Arts
Not just for games, the U32G4 is great for those who make content. Its panel shows true colors with 95% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB. A Delta Delta E < 2 means it s good for photos and art that need exact colors.
Tools and Apps for Games
The screen offers a few game help apps like:
- Dark Boost: Makes dark parts clear but keeps bright spots from being too bright.
- Game Tools: Has a moveable aim (crosshair), a 3x sniper zoom, and shows how fast frames come.
- G-Menu Software: Lets users fix settings, set up games, and set macros.
Ways to Link and Setup
For linking devices, the U32G4 has two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4, all with HDR and 4K at 120Hz. It also has an audio out.
The stand that comes with it lets you move it a lot, like 130mm up, ±20° turn, -5° to 23° tilt, and it can pivot 90° for up-down view. For other ways to set it up, a 100x100mm VESA mount exists.
Cost and When You Can Buy It
The AOC U32G4 costs $418 in the Chinese area. They have not said yet when it will be for sale all over.
